I have complettly lost my drawing skills..! I used to be able to just place the pencil on a piece of paper and just go whereever it took me, but know nothing happens! and if I force myself to start drawing, I never finish it, because the outcome is soo terrible!
I looked over some of my old drawings and they were so much better, and it was 7-8 years old drawings!
it has been almost a year since I last drew something really good, something I really put a lot of energy in and was proud of. that's my portrait of Derren Brown.. the last good drawing I did!!
maybe it's something mentally. you know, I have proven that I can create something that looks good, and I have too high expectations and just can't live up to them.
I used to be really good at writing poems. that ability I have lost, too..
I will take up drawing again. my art teacher told me last year "promise me you will never stop drawing, and don't ever tell yourself that you're not good enough". cliché, I know, but he made an impression on me, and I made one on him, too. he told me that I had the potential to become a really talented artist. and I attend to be.
this is not the end. I will not accept it.
